Abu Alhassan shahid ebn Hussein Balkhi:

He that was a Samanian poet was born in Balkh in the 9^th century. He was composing his poem to Farsi & Arabic. Was written in his biography that the most of his life was spent to study of books. He also was a Penman, philosopher & has the controversies with Mohammad Zakariaye Razi (Great scientist, The revealer of Alcohol & Sulfuric acid).

He had a lot of famous friends like: Nasr ebn Ahmad samani (governor) & Abu Abdollah ebn Mohammad ebn Ahmad Jeyhani etc. He also was a friend of Roodaki.

He was died in 904 A.H 4 years before Roodaki death.
